A lot of of what you articulate hanepps to be supprisingly precise and that makes me wonder the reason why I had not looked at this in this light previously. Your piece truly did switch the light on for me as far as this particular subject goes. Nonetheless there is just one position I am not too comfortable with so while I try to reconcile that with the actual main theme of your point, allow me see exactly what the rest of your visitors have to point out.Nicely done.

In my opinion, the chucrh needs an ecclesiological overhaul. Churches need to become smaller, more local, more organic. It is impossible not to do age segregated ministry when you have a chucrh of 1,000+ people because of logistics. Smaller chucrhes are more nimble and able to integrate better. Truly local chucrhes (and by local I'm talking walking distance) would enhance integration of chucrh life into everyday life because the worshiping community would also be neighbors. New monasticism is experimenting with this idea, and it will be interesting to see where it leads.
